Parking near London stadium?
Considering driving to a few games coming season as an alternative to train.

Anyone do this?

Where are the best places to park?

How bad is the traffic?

I suspect it's been hinted at on this thread already but, given that we're IN EUROPE next season, a majority of our pre-Christmas games are likely to be on a Sunday, where parking restrictions may differ (from Saturday) - needs to be taken with a pinch of salt though as I've not had to consider parking restrictions in the UK for at least 3, approaching 4 decades.

Mobility scooter drivers - we go where we like, when we fucking like. Complain and I'll play "the card". So there.

Stratford international - I think it is the best value parking

However, the traffic around there is mental on the way out. If you are planning on shopping, going for a bite to eat eats after then probably ok.

I've parked in Leyton Mills before and got the tube the short distance from Leyton to Stratford. No idea if that's still possible.

Fifth - might be better to park round the back of wanstead near the station and jump on the tube for a few stops. Also easy to get on the m11 afterwards.

Anyone know if there is parking to the north east of the Olympic Park? I need to get to the M11 after the match so thought might be a bit quicker if there is any parking on that side? The Leyton side.

Paid for bays on Wallis Road, free single yellow parking on White post lane and the roads around. Save the fucking about in Stratford.

Right next to Bromley by bow station there's a Tesco. £6 all day parking. About a 20min walk to the stadium.

Re: Parking near London stadium?
Just buy a flat by the canal overlooking the stadium.

They're about £800,000 with a wrap-around terrace.

Sorted.

In the absence of that somewhat expensive second home option (which is most of us) then, yes, park up near Tredegar Sq and walk along either Tredegar Road or Roman Road. Over the bridge, and onto the Fish Island entrances.

Drive to Upminster and get the train, loads do.

Re: Parking near London stadium?
I don't drive it, but there is that massive multi storey at the Westfield. I've often thought about using it, but would suggest hanging around there for a bit after to let the traffic calm down.
